The propolis is a natural substance made by bees from resins harvested on buds and bark of certain trees. They then mix it with wax and their own secretions to protect the hive and maintain a healthy environment.

What is propolis?

Propolis is often called "shield of the hive". Bees use it to clutter small openings, clean the inside of the hive and protect the colony against external aggression.
